Zurich Zoo & Wildlife Park

The ibis Zurich Adliswil hotel is the ideal starting point for animal excursions: the Langenberg Wildlife Park is practically on the doorstep (10 minutes), the famous Zurich Zoo can be reached in around 20 minutes and the Knies Children’s Zoo in Rapperswil is perfect for a family-friendly day trip, for example travelling there by boat and back by public transport.

Out into the countryside

Lake Zurich boat trip & Rhine Falls

Explore the mystical world of the Höllgrotten caves in Baar (30 minutes), enjoy the panoramic view from the Felsenegg (10 minutes) on the Uetliberg or take a relaxing boat trip on Lake Zurich (e.g. from Zurich Wollishofen).

Another highlight is the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen – Europe’s largest waterfall, easily reached in under an hour.
